I’ve only known this person for a couple weeks, but in that time they have gone out of their way to check up on me during bad times, and have been as supportive as one could ask for. As we’ve gotten to know each other, I’ve realized that this is a person I click with, whatever form that takes. I hope that one day, they can pass this on to someone else who has the same impact on them as they have on me.
And hey, we better both stay good at bomb disposal. One day, someone’s life might depend on it.
