I was given this bracelet by the Schaller Family. I had cared for their children at the preschool where I work, and this family had always been so kind. The children were so sweet and funny, and the family was easy to talk to and develop a friendship with.
They gave me this bracelet at a time where life was extremely difficult. I was teaching in person during the Covid pandemic, living paycheck to paycheck, and felt so under-appreciated. Even though I taught in the classroom all day, as an administrator, I was the person who parents “vented to” regarding all the guidelines and policies set in place to keep everyone healthy. It was extremely stressful, and hard to stay positive hearing such negativity day after day.
So receiving this bracelet was a blessing and reminder that there is kindness in the world, and I am touching the lives of little ones.
I have been trying to live by “give and you shall receive” so what a perfect gift.
I now pass this bracelet along to my dear friend Rosie. She just lost her dad, so I hope this bracelet provides her some comfort during this difficult time.
