Who knew you could meet your kindred spirit in Cancun when a beautiful young lady from Nebraska brought you lemon shots!?! We were in Playa del Carmen for a vacation and met a large group from Nebraska on a rainy day in a bar….imagine that😉. The next
day on the beach Conor brought lemon shots over to us and the friendship began. Despite an over 45 year age difference we had so much in common. She majored in Child Development like me, we both taught preschool, we were both from small rural towns of less than 500, her husband is a farmer and I grew up on a farm. The more we talked the more commonalities we found. I was very impressed that Conor knew exactly what she wanted to do and at age 23 she purchased a building and began running her own day care/preschool. And at 25 already considering expansion. I’m inspired by her devotion to the care and concern for young children and the importance of positive role models for them. She was so articulate in sharing her passion for young children that I knew immediately that she was someone I wanted to share my bracelet with. Conor I truly admire your drive and dedication in pursuing a career in child development. Your commitment in providing a caring and nurturing environment for our babies and young children help to make this world a little bit better😊💖. Please pass on the passion and kindness.
