I was given the bracelet by a friend that if I could have the perfect sister, she would be it. I never had a sister and thought it would be just the best. There are sister characters on tv and in real life, that have so much going on in their lives….by my friend and I, we can share anything, laugh at just about everything, joke about nothing and burst in to giggles, and know that whatever we have said is always confidential and just between us. Our husbands are as close as brothers, too. They are Academy alumni classmates. We have never lived near each other over the many years of military service, but came together within the last 10 years. It was like we knew each other already. As Deb said, we share the same name for our grandmothers, even their heritage is similar. We will either be in the same colored outfit or look like a photo and negative together. She can outcook me till the sun sets, but I try to keep up…. She is a friend that I never thought I would have the privilege of having. Together we are a force! Love you to the moon and back, Deb!
