I want to recognize you as person who I have connected with while working on a meaningful mission – HHS’ Unaccompanied Minor Children. I met many volunteers over a 4-month period, but you had one of the biggest impacts on me. You were always dedicated to the cause and took the mission seriously. It was such a joy meeting you and working with you. I am convinced that if I didn’t meet you, I probably would have ended my detail early. You kept me going and always laughing. I loved the way we could look at each other and know what the other was thinking. A true connection. I know our paths will cross again one day soon.
